In the time off from my shoulder injury, I have been
staying busy. I spent a week at the FCA
MX camp. It was an awesome week and I
had a lot of fun. I was an instructor
on the track and I was also a Huddle leader.
We would ride all morning and afternoon until about three. Then we would jump in the lake for some free
time after that. That was nice because
it was about 100 degrees. In the
evening Steve Hudson would deliver the message at chapel.
Then
we would break up into small groups and have a bible study. It was a really great time, but the best
part of the week was seeing about 20 kids get baptized on Thursday. That made all the hard work worth it.
The
past few weeks I have been staying at the Cox residents near Owensboro, KY. I have been working with Dylan Cox, a 12-13
85cc rider. He is riding the 12-13
stock and mod classes at Loretta's. I
have also been working with about 4 others and have some new kids next
week. If anyone is interested in some
very personal type training, I will be available in the coming weeks. You may email me at Shawn@ShawnClarkmx.com.
I
am planning on having surgery on the shoulder in September when I get back on a
good insurance plan. I will miss most
of the winter, but I will be back for next spring. I can't wait to get back on the Unbound Energy / TeamVRM.com bike.
